Cooperative Robotic Systems (CRS) Laboratory
The CRS Lab works at the intersection of artificial intelligence and robotics, with an emphasis on human-robot teaming, multi-agent systems, distributed robotic systems, human-robot interaction, and planning and automated reasoning.
Four active thrusts
- 01
Perception and Modeling
Reading human mental and emotional state from limited, noisy signal to support collaboration.
- 02
Decision Making
Action selection that accounts for a human teammate's physical and mental state.
- 03
Learning and Adaptation
Mutual learning between robot and human teammates over sustained collaboration.
- 04
Communication
Minimal, context-sensitive communication channels between robots and people.
